Artist Statement

My work is deeply inspired by my love of travel and storytelling. As a child, I had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe with my parents. During these long journeys, my mother would tell stories or recite poetry, sparking my imagination and creativity. This early exposure to different cultures, stories and art, has had a profound impact on my artistic style and subject matter.

I have always had a passion for creating art, and as I grew older, I began experimenting with different mediums such as collages, using pages torn from magazines, fabrics and drawings, which I then painted over. This technique allowed me to combine different elements, creating a unique and dynamic composition.

My paintings are a reflection of my travels and experiences, they tell stories from other countries, distant continents and even worlds beyond our reality. They are an attempt to capture the beauty, diversity, and uniqueness of different cultures. Through my art, I hope to inspire people to question their point of view, broaden their horizons and appreciate the world around them.

As a painter, the basis of my pictures are travel photos, put together as photo collages, over which I paint and draw. My paintings combine different cultures into one, creating new worlds in the process. They open up spaces full of lively stories, revealing something different for each viewer, generating curiosity for and acceptance of new perspectives and unknown, different worlds.

In conclusion, my paintings are a reflection of my passion for travel, storytelling and art. They are an attempt to capture the beauty of different cultures and inspire people to question their point of view, broaden their horizons and appreciate the world around them.
